As a personal chef service, we design and prepare menus shaped entirely by your preferences, routines and health needs. Every dish is made from organic, locally sourced ingredients and delivered with the same care we would bring to our own family table.
For households settling into new seasons, navigating postpartum, managing demanding schedules or seeking support in finding more balance in everyday life, we offer high quality, carefully prepared cooking to meet you exactly where you are.
MEET ALLISON
Allison Dent is a professionally trained chef in Vancouver, with over 15 years of experience creating seasonal, high- quality meals for clients who value both flavour and wellbeing. Her work is grounded in the belief that the table is the heart of the home, a place for connection, comfort and celebration.
As a working mother, Allison understands the reality of feeding a family while managing a full schedule. Over the years, she saw how many households wanted beautiful, nourishing meals without the stress of planning, cooking and decision- making. This inspired her to create Dinner In, a service that combines the refinement and care of a private chef with the practicality of week-to-week support.
Allison sources organic and locally grown ingredients whenever possible. Each menu is designed around the people she cooks for, their routines and what would genuinely support them that week. For her, it is not only about preparing food, but about giving families more time, calm and space to enjoy it.

Each week, you’ll receive a custom menu tailored to your needs. You’ll approve or request tweaks with just a quick reply.

WEEKLY DELIVERY
Meals are delivered once or twice a week, ready to heat and enjoy. We’ll include clear notes and instructions.

We keep our client list intentionally small in order to offer a truly personalized experience. This ensures consistent quality, direct communication, and meals that are tailored with care.

We prioritize organic, local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. Our sourcing is done with intention- focusing on quality, traceability, and trusted suppliers.

Never. All meals are 100% seed oil-free. We cook with fats we trust, including extra virgin, cold pressed olive oil, avocado oil, grass fed butter, ghee and other whole-food alternatives.

Yes. We are experienced in working with gluten-free, dairy-free, celiac, anti-inflammatory, Vegan, GAPS, low FODMAP and a variety of healing diets. Let us know your needs during the intake process, and we’ll build your meals accordingly.

Most clients work with us weekly on an ongoing basis, but we offer flexibility. You’re never locked into a long-term contract- you can pause, adjust or shift your plan as life evolves.

Dinner In is open year-round with the exception of two scheduled breaks: 3 weeks in May and 2 weeks in December. We’ll always provide advanced notice so you can plan ahead.
